Teach the children hope.
It is the life-blood of tomorrow and the reason for today.
Hold your children with tenderness.
The power of touch can comfort the soul and bring calm to a turbulent mind.
For those who have known the embrace of care.
Will reach out with arms of love and encircle the world.
Teach the children humility.
It will bring shelter from disappointment,
And an appreciation of the value of others in this imperfect world.
Teach the children to question.
The world is full of intrigue. It is through the eyes of wonderment and the spirit of imagination that
cynicsm and complacency are replaced by the dream of a better life.
Teach the children well and help them find their way.
For they are emerging bud’s in life’s garden,
And you the light of knowledge by which they will flourish.
